Phil Gustafson

Phil Gustafson is the Executive Sales Director at Dallas Jet International, bringing a wealth of experience in business aircraft sales and acquisitions. His passion for aviation took root early, growing up on an Air Force base where summers were spent watching B-52s and working at the commissary. That passion deepened in fifth grade after touring Cessna Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, and taking his first flight in a De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver.

Phil attended Arkansas State University-Beebe before enlisting with the 39th Aviation Detachment of the 39th Infantry Brigade, serving as brigade supply sergeant and supporting flight operations with Huey UH-1 helicopters. In 1970, Phil joined Central Flying Service in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he managed the pioneering test markets for computerized inventory control with Beech Aircraft. He later developed a successful maintenance sales department that served clients nationwide, rapidly advancing into leadership roles and eventually becoming VP of Marketing and Aircraft Management.

With decades of broad aviation expertise spanning maintenance, parts, aircraft history, and sales leadership, Phil brings invaluable insight to Dallas Jet International. His dedication to building genuine client relationships and delivering exceptional service has earned him a reputation as one of the industry’s most trusted professionals.

Beyond aviation, Phil’s diverse career includes owning a residential real estate company and a mail order business, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit. He resides in Little Rock, Arkansas, with his wife of 54 years, Patty. When not supporting clients, Phil enjoys spending time with family, visiting his children and grandchildren, and relaxing on the water boating and fishing.
